The following exploratory photogravures from the past two years are not part of a suite at this point, but are linked to earlier suites by approach and subject matter.
My continued use of animal taxidermy has evolved from the examination of an individual specimen to the placement of an animal in an unusual context. By photographing the animal in an unusual environment, the viewer is confronted with a dissonance far more pronounced than the artificiality of the taxidermy alone.
